Audit Process Overview

Public authorities will register on the NADP RTI Audit Website by providing relevant information and contact details.

Registered public authorities will submit quotations for the RTI audit process, indicating their willingness to undergo third-party assessment under Section 4 of the RTI Act.

NADP will review the submitted quotations and select public authorities for RTI audits based on predefined criteria and priorities.

Audit schedules are established and communicated to selected public authorities through the NADP RTI Audit Website.

Audit procedures, guidelines, and templates are provided to public authorities via the NADP RTI Audit Website for seamless execution of the audit process.

Public authorities upload relevant documents, policies, and procedures related to proactive disclosure of information on the NADP RTI Audit Website for audit review.

NADP audit teams evaluate the proactive disclosure mechanisms of public authorities based on the information provided on the NADP RTI Audit Website.

Audit findings, observations, and recommendations are documented and compiled into comprehensive audit reports.

Upon completion of the audit process, NADP audit teams will transfer audit reports to the CIC website for public access and regulatory compliance.
